What is NFC?

NFC technology - short for Near-Field Communication - allows two devices to communicate over a small distance.  In other words, a physical NFC chip can deliver a link to the receiving smartphone.  The link could be your website, LinkedIn page, or any website you would like your client to visit.  The receiver doesn't even need to download an NFC reader, as most modern smart phones can read NFC chips.

How to choose the right chip for your NFC  business cards?

NTAG213 is widely used, with a memory of 144 bytes. Can cover the basic information of encoding a URL, or number.

NTAG215 has an available memory of 504 bytes, so it’s suitable to be encoded with V-Cards or more data. Also, the best choice for games.

NTAG216 has the advantage of higher capacity thanks to an available memory of 888 bytes. This makes it a great chip for business cards.

What’s more, other chips like an ultralight, and DESFire are also for your choices.
